Ear Wax

  •  Wax (cerumen) production in the ears is a normal phenomenon.
  •  Earwax lubricates and protects your ear canal by trapping dirt and slowing the growth of bacteria.
  •   However, over time in some patients, wax may accumulate to cause a decrease in hearing, fullness and even pain.
  •   Removal of this wax may require a stepwise approach.
  •   You may first be advised to instil wax softener ear drops, making it easier and less painful for you during removal.
